Nismo 350z 18" fronts
 

Just kinda appeared randomly but there is a way for me to get an incredible deal on the nismo 350z front wheels (inspired by some people running R33 GTR wheels), I think they are good looking and they are forged rays wheels so compared to their aftermarket wheel cousins they are significantly cheaper, good sizing yet still retaining the quality

the specs are 18x9 +30 offset

Obviously I would need to run the adapters but I havent seen anyone run this exact size, although people seem to be running 17x9 +30 with 15mm adapters just fine. Opinions?

17x9 +30 and a 15mm adapter is either going to require some fender remodelling or some really stretched tires.

What's your definition of "just fine"? I'm pretty damn flush in the rear on sportlines (-1 degree camber) with 18x9et42. Now add 1/2" of poke just from the wheels alone. Let's add another 1/2" for the adapter (actually more since 1/2" equals 12.7mm). You already have over an inch of poke in the rear. The fronts will be even further out. Is that "just fine"?

Not only will it poke to hell and back, but Z wheels aren't light. I have 22# wheels on my car which isn't exactly light either, but they are like feathers compared to wheels I've pulled off of Z's.

I would let those wheels go. A good deal on price doesn't necessarily mean a good idea to purchase, and those wheels won't fit without sticking way out of the fender.

Thanks for the opinions guys, just exploring options. As far as "light weight" goes im not super concerned, just wanted a nice tough look. I believe they weight in at 21 lbs, which isnt too bad regardless.

Really hate that our cars have this insane bolt pattern! it would be so easy to find second hand used wheels.

Look at Subaru models 2004 or earlier, or VW Jettas 2005 or earlier. They use 5x100 without going too extreme on the offset.


Also, check out the Wheel Directory, Gallery, and Fitment Chart sticky, there are a number of OEM wheels from other manufacturers in there.

if you're looking to stance out your car, then you can make these wheels fit. 18x9 +15 isn't "crazy" really. it'll be super aggressive, but there are more extreme fitments done. but either way, you'll need suspension work done for sure along with aggressively stretched tires.

i thought about these wheels too but didnt want to bother with all that nonsense to end up with a car i cant drive hard.

Are you running LCA's or something else to dial camber out of the rear? If not, you have way more than -1* in the back. I have -2* with a less of a drop (swift sport springs, 1" drop).
