Panda FT-86 Initial D style

Hi,

I could not help drawing this like the AE86 from Initial D, I think it's only a matter of time before someone owns an FT and paints it like this :)

Can't wait for this car already..

I am most definitely getting my FT painted like that!

its cool but, outdated. what would be interesting is a modern take at the classic paint scheme

Wow. Why all the attitude man? You act like you're the original creator of the panda paint scheme. lol. Look, it won't work for everyone. He was just saying it's an old look.

I'm not really sure how to make it look more modern to be honest. But this was in one of the other photoshop threads:

Not much different honestly. It's just missing the Initial D graphics on the door.

The 'bloody' panda rendering is more close to the original. The black stripe goes over the overfender, it doesn't just stop at it. With the exception of the black stripe across the front bumper cover....no idea why thats even there.

Even so, both aren't proper, and don't look quite right.

Also, I'm not using my own car for a base comparison...its mostly correct, MOSTLY, the key word, but not entirely.

Hahahaha, yah.

Anyhoo, I wanna see this thing in the baboon-ass red. Personally would get a graphite/charcoal colored one, or a white one though. Also, if I'm mysteriously super rich by the time we see it at Longo or Wondries Toyota, I might opt to buy a few cans of Andromeda colored paint :P

Maybe because I've met a thousand people like that guy before. I knew he would have no talent... So I did not really see the need to post the waiting any later.

Regardless if you find that "hilarious" that's pretty sad. Larry David is hilarious. The above is not even!

Yes the style is outdated, but nonetheless, it's still a great drawing. Props for that.
