Help please! BRZ limited won't start.

So today I received my Invidia N1 Catback system. We installed it perfectly, had no problems. After we got done installing it around 8 we went and ate dinner. After that I drove home and when I decided to leave again my car wouldn't start. The electronics just turn on, doesn't even try to turn over. There are fresh batteries in the key. I've never had any problems with this car ever. (it is a push to start)

Are you pushing down on the clutch all the way? (or if you have an automatic, are you sure it's in Park?). Maybe the sensor that tells the car the clutch is pressed came off and its not even trying to start?

did you leave any lights on or have anything that would drain your battery? what happens when you push start? is there a humming sound or just nothing at all?

Check your steering lock first. if it lock you can't start the engine.

If the wheel is turned fully to one direction, it can put a load on the steering lock, and not let it release, and the car won't start. It's happened to me a couple times.

This isn't anything specific to the twins either.

A local guy here had a issue similar to yours a few years ago on a cruise. We parked the cars then for no reason he couldn't get it started. It ended up being a security thing and after a half an hour he got it started up again. He called Subaru and they told him it had to do with the key fob caused the car to go into some security mode.

Sometimes the security system gets confused if you try to start the car too quickly after getting in. When it happened to me, I fixed it by getting out, relocking the car, pausing about 10 seconds, then getting back in. After getting in, I closed the door and then started the car normally.
