what are people's opinions of LED's in the engine bay and wheel wells? more for a cosmetic enhancement, and for taking stanced pics

Who cares what others think? If you like it, do it. I have extremely flashy headlights and underglow, but you'd never know I had them if I didn't turn them on.

Stance is cool too, if you like it, do it.

Right now my car is track height, and running 255/35/18s on 18x9.5's. And I still have street glow. Because I like it.

So yeah, do what you like, fuck what others think.

Bro, I like LED's a lot, but I would NEVER go with wheel well lighting. Engine bay would be cool for practical purposes, but I don't work in there every week so I wouldn't do that either.

Most members on this forum is mostly function over form. Anyone asking for advice on cosmetic mods like GT wings on stock car, stance, rainbow color scheme, stickers and underglow will most likely be called "rice". It's your car do what you want. But be prepared to face it whether positive or negative comments.

@fang_gt86 True, but let's be honest, underglow is like an AP BBK compared to wheel well lighting.

From what I have seen with car enthusiasts, if aesthetically its anything beyond rims, a drop or a sublet spoiler they will call it "rice"

I had wheel well LEDs, atm I have them unhooked due to me reorganizing things, but I had them setup to light with the dome light, so when I unlocked the doors. Made me smile.

Go for it. I personally think it's tacky, but it's not my whip. My ride is very form over function right now. Too low with too low of an offset. But it makes me giddy whenever I see it, so I don't worry about what people have to say about it

As long as it isn't ridiculous in a bad way or horribly tacky, most enthusiasts don't make a big deal about it.
LEDs in the wheels usually falls into the tacky category.
