Looking for an FA20, Trans and pieces in AZ
 

If any of you know of a motor and trans for sale let me know I am looking for a setup.

No more LS1? -- Seemed like a headache. :(

Have everything engine and trans wise etc that I can at this point, but no mounts and while the guy making them would eventually make one hell of a set he has had close to 8 months and I still don't have it... and he is saying another few months because he is busy... I am tired of waiting to get to work on headers, drive shaft, ac lines, etc etc. I want the car back up.

Looks like I found one, now to get a few mods again, Header, Kart Boy Shifter, Intake, Pulley going to be fun tracking it all down but it looks like I should have enough cash to do so.

Then I have to decide if I am going to go FI again.

Either way any local's with any of those items I have some cash for you for them.

Are these fa20 rebuilds pretty pricey ?

IDK I had to rebuy the whole drive train so for me it was 3700 shipped for an engine and trans complete with everything I already sold off or needed extra like the harness, DI controller etc.

Is there no other way to get mounts? Or do you have your heart set on those particular ones.... You've come so far! And we've all been rooting for ya! :thumbup:

I wanted to give this guy the work mainly because he would then sell the mounts to anyone who wanted them unlike everyone else but well his life has been really complicated and I know shit happens but it's gotten to the point I just want to drive the damn car again.

I might be able to find someone else but most just want to weld on to the existing pieces and well... I don't like that solution.

On another note this looks like a promising kit... hmmm maybe I should give this a run on E85 when it hit's in June. I might have to see if I can get on the list to help test it.

@jeffsides put up pictures of this earlier. I thought it seemed promising too. Also, I've been slipping back to stock + OFT so if you want an AEM, I could just trade you stock box for the AEM. I'd need a drop in filter or something though. AEM isn't the best I'm sure, but it's not terrible

Yeah I saw that when they posted the teaser a few months ago. That and the Harrop system seem to be preeeeetttyyyy awesome sounding. Hopefully they dont do what Cosworth did and charge you your first born child and your left arm.
