BeSpoke worth it?
I'm sorry for making this sort of post, but I searched this forum and the BeSpoke threads were old, mostly before the June 1st date.
Has anyone gotten BeSpoke, and what are your opinions on it? Some of the cars I'm looking at in the area have it already installed. |
i wish i had it only for looks -- if you dont want that ill trade with you ...
im not sure its worth 899 dollars, but only for the screen-interface and the phone interfaces ------ mine was the first out of the lot so i got mine stock - and the stock sounds ok too... i dont think it has any more power or sounds any better - its just looks ... Quote:

I have it. The head unit is nice and sound is great. The Bespoke app itself doesn't add much value for me though.

I was just at a training seminar/launch event for this car and they talked to us about BeSpoke. As of right now it is an Apple only product, which means it will only work with an iPhone 4/4S, Touch, and they said they go it to work on an iPad as well. Anyway, it seemed like it was nice and when there is updates, it will be through the app since it's app based and not hardware. They told us that next year there will be an update to turn the Routing feature into actual Navigation with turn-by-turn directions. Android compatibility will also come with that update.
My personal opinion, the social part is kinda neat, but I don't think I would use it. I would much rather spend $600 on a Pioneer 940BT and have a navigation system & not (Mapquest on the go). Ruskymx |
I have the Bespoke and at this point I have to say its not worth it. I like the look of it better than the stock radio. The display and touch screen are cool, but the map/naviagation badly needs an upgrade. There is no way to manually put in an address and the voice recognition is lacking.

I was told it is 350 watts vs 300 watts. I have the unit and wasn't aware when I ordered you had to have iPhone 4/ 4s. I had a 3GS lined up from a family member to learn later. However can still stream Pandora and have album art, see all folders/lists/artist and such on USB too. Touchscreen is nice and sounds good!
I am sure there are better App Radio Decks out there, I just went with it since factory option to put into my financing. I have no complaints, but then again I am not using BeSpoke. |
Got my car with BeSpoke... question: Is there any way to get the iPod to play automatically every time you start the car? It seems I have to go in every time and select the iPod option.
