Matte blue GT86

3 Attachment(s)
Took a few snaps today while it was sunny for once.

For anyone interested, the visible mods are:

Valenti rear lights.
Wrapped in 3M "satin perfect blue" vinyl.
OZ Ultraleggera wheels in matte graphite silver (17x7.5 et35)
KW V3 suspension which will be going a little lower soon, only raised it up a bit to try figure out if a rubbing noise was coming from it being too low.

EDIT: Sorry just realised I posted this in the BRZ section instead of GT86 by mistake. Hopefully a mod can move it

Always wished the FR-S would have came in WRB. Car looks great man!

Thanks :) tbh when I ordered the vinyl I completely forgot that the BRZ came in a similar colour, but now everyone thinks I intentionally tried to make it look more like a BRZ lol ah well. In person it doesn't look that similar because of the matte/satin finish.

Looks great regardless! Think I'd go this route if I got my car wrapped!

Looks dope! I love it, especially with the valenti tails.

Love the rims!

How long does it take to wrap an entire car like this?

Well I didn't do it myself, but the place I got it done at had it finished 5 days after I dropped it off

Love the look. I own a WRB BRZ and down the road am considering a full body wrap; might go for a Mexico blue.

Regardless, your GT86 looks unique and awesome.

This looks great. Love that color/texture. It also looks very well executed. My buddy wrapped his Evo 9 by himself and it looked like shit.
How much does professional work like this cost, if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah my friend once tried to wrap his bonnet and said it was so hard and went pretty badly lol so I took it to a company that specialises in doing car wraps. The price was about £1500 GBP for the full car but not sure if that really helps you because you're in a different country so prices might be pretty different even after converting it to your currency (FYI I think £1500 GBP is about $2500 USD)

spdfreak 03-24-2015 11:29 PM

Oh, didn't notice your location. That price seems about right, though. Thank you.
Again, it looks fantastic. If i ever manage to mess up my car bad enough to need a lot of paint, i might just go with wrapping it green with a similar texture.
