Fog Lights issue - comes on and off

Hi guys I have some oem fog lights installed in my FRS with the optional on/off button on the left side dash. When I turn it on it flickers for half sec and shuts off. If I leave it on while driving it would randomly come on and stay on for a bit until it randomly shuts off, sometimes from hitting a small bump while driving. I checked the fuse and it's still good. Any ideas? The only change I've done recently was install a HID hyperblink flasher, I don't imagine that causing an issue but is it a possible culprit?

Anyone?

Mine are not OEM (I have winjets) BUT! I did have an issue just like this, and it turned out the inline fuse was melted. I ended up getting a new watertight inline fuse holder and swapped it out. No issues since.

You did mention hitting bumps in the road, I would follow all the wiring and make sure everything is nice and tight. It could be a loose connection somewhere.

same thing here, nothing wrong with the wiring, bulb connector was the issue with mine. try and check those again.

I'd double check yours fog light fuse or could be where the ground wires were set, like j2digit said just refollow the wires and look for loose connections.

Having this exact issue. Nothing is loose, all connections are good as well as the fuse.

May as well bump this up:

I checked everything out with a multimeter. For about ten seconds, the fog light bulb connector draws between 11-13 VDC. It then drops to 0 VDC for about ten seconds, then draws 11-13 VDC, then 0 VDC, so on and so forth. The switch is constantly drawing 11-13 VDC on the Red and Black wires, and 5 VDC on the other two (blue and green? Can't remember the colour for the other 2 switch wires). Listened while it turned on and off and it sounds like there's a relay or something clicking on and off. Thoughts?
