Stock, tuned with Ecutek
Hey guys looking for some dynographs of a stock frs tuned with ecutek.
I've been looking but I can only find with exhaust and intake |
Just curious, why Ecutek? Seems expensive for a stock car -- for that price you could get an off-the-shelf tune and some bolt-ons.
|
I prefer ecutek to everything else that is available. I've done my research and feel it is the best fit for the use of my car and where I'd eventually like to take it

just depends if you want map switching or full flex fuel integration at some point. So the power/torque changes dyno graphs you find for oft or brzedit tunes will be achievable on ecutek or vice-versa, its dependant on the tuner not the tuning device or platform. on a stock car expect around 10 wheel hp gain over stock top end reduced torque dip smoother running/throttle response smoother idle. about the same fuel economy if driven normally. |

We tuned the car today, I'm curious to compare is why I ask.
Unfortunately after tuning it decided to snow 6 inches so I haven't had any seat time yet. |
Assuming you mean completely stock with pump gas? I can post a graph of completely stock car tuned with ECUtek on E85.

Ya anything to compare to

Bone stock 2014 FRS with maybe ~200 miles = blue lines (run_001) Same car, only ECUtek with a few tweaks = green lines (run_002) (forgot I had this one at the house) Same car, ECUtek and E85 = red lines (run_016) Same car, same day, same dyno. Hell, probably same hour. @19eightysix |
Thanks!

Any time. Note that there was very little tuning done, especially for the torque dip, so your car should be better under the curve.
