Any meth fans?

No, not that kind. Lay off the Breaking Bad.

So I recent wrecked my 10 Series. However I found a replacement twin, a JRSC'd FRS. So for awhile I intend to keep using the CARB tune and run a Catback, But eventually I'm going to get that itch for more.

For sure I'm going to do UEL header and test pipe. And a diff clutch.

I want to do E85 but the closest station to me (35mi) is Berkeley. And I'm not going to waste 2gal of gas each way.

Soooooo has anybody done Water Methanol Injection that can give me feedback? Mainly FI, but the opinions of NA folks will be taken into account. I understand that it's another system that has kinks to workout and that failsafes (if not redundant failsafes) are necessary.

So NorCal brothers and sisters...what's the deal?

I drive to Berkeley to get my E85 or to Fairfield. Worth it every time in my opinion. I bring a jerry can and fill that up as well so I have 5 gallons extra.

What are you using for a tune?

I know of a guy that drives from Santa Rosa to Berkeley once a week for e85. He brings a bunch of 5 gallon cans. But he has a hatch back. :(
