Spare time with turbos, STI VF48 mocked up
I've had this idea kicking around my head for a while now. Right now my custom turbo setup is off the car so I figured I would give this a shot. I made a quick bracket to mock up a VF48 turbo from a 08+ STI. It sits in there real nice. I obviously didn't spin the compressor housing to where it would need to be but that because my buddy is going to be putting this in his wrx.

When I had my 08 STI I ran one of these at 20psi so it should be plenty capable for our cars. |
I am assuming you would need to fab up your own manifold to make this work as well, correct?

Correct, I made my own T3 manifolds so a subi flanged one would be no sweat.

Wish i was good enough to make my own manifolds. |
Here is one of my T3 manifolds, I'm thinking pretty much recreate that with a subi flange on the end, Ive got a box of them. I would probably also include a stub for EWG just for future use.
