What tire pressures do you guys run?
What tire pressures (cold) are you guys running? I'm on stock wheels/tires and it feels like I'm understeering on 360* highway exits/entrances if I'm pushing it a little. I usually give it a bit more gas and angle to compensate and help the car rotate...but if I have to slow for other traffic, lifting results in a manageable bit of oversteer. I'm trying to get it a bit more neutral. {BRZ Limited}
Ps - i did search for this, but most of the results were in the autocross/hpde section and were old threads. This question relates more to daily driving as I have yet to autox/hpde the car. Thanks in advance. |
DD - 35 psi

Does it feel like the car pushes a bit more than you would like or are you happy with the feel?

I'm happy with the feel but I also upgraded to MPSS's and that has helped (on stock rims). Could be just the nature of the OEM wheels that is messing with you.

Did you stick with the stock tire size or did you go 225? |
I also run 35 psi. The nature of the BRZ suspension setup and front/rear balance is that at speed it will push a little bit, but is neutral enough that you should be able to control that easily enough with the throttle. The FRS (at least the 2013-14) was setup a little more tail happy, but unless you're on the throttle or inducing lift oversteer, the car will still push. When there is more weight over the front wheels, they need to do more work than the rears when turning.

I'm running 36 PSI Cold..which equates to about 39-40 PSI Hot.
If I'm pushing the car through a corner, I can feel the car yaw and slide. |

Yup, 36 cold on stock rubber and suspension.

I run -3 degrees of camber and 255s and I usually run about 32psi cold for daily driving and when I am at auto x closer to 27-28psi hot usually.
