New owner of a Hot Lava FRS from Hawai'i

My dad, brother and I went to a toyota dealership to "check" out whats new. Well i was pretty bored so i went outside and took a stroll on the dealership parking. That's when i saw this dark orange FRS on the side. I fell in love with it instantly.
So my dad got his 4x4 Tacoma and I ended up thinking about the orange FRS. I eventually told my wife about trading my old Matrix XRS for the FRS but instead she gave me the "look".

Feb. 16 2015
After a sleepless night. I went back to the dealership to see the FRS one more time. I sat on the driver's seat and i knew this car is for me. The salesman walk me to a halo and raven frs but my heart was with the hot lava. We worked out a deal without trading-in my matrix cos im sure my wife will kill me. I do really like the car so much that i ended up getting it WITHOUT my wife's approval.

After so many hold-ups, the dealer told me that the car is ready. One of the happiest moments of my life. Drove it home with a wide grin on my face. And my first car date? Nope, not my wife but my 3 year old Princess. Wife didn't talk to me for days.Attachment 104970

Other then the Dad part that almost match's my story word for word!
Did the sky open up, trumpets blare and angels sing as soon as you spotted that orange blaze of glory?


Oh and 8 months later the wife still gives me crap over it.

Even if the sky didnt i would still get the car lol. But yep my wife is still salty about it.

Amazed Tcoat hasn't said it first so I will, welcome to team Hot Lava. So which one of these women is your wife?

Welcome man! if you haven't already, check out the Hawaii section. I'm not sure if there is an active group there on Maui, but if you're ever in Honolulu, the group meets up about once a month!
