To Everyone who already has their Scion FR-S
 

Im currently on the waiting list for my FR-S, I wanted to know, for those who already have theirs, how long did it take before you got your car? and How long should I expect to wait for mine?...

Depending on your dealers allocation and your color preference, it can take from one week to months.

How far down are you on your dealer's list?

I was one of the first 86 so i got my car weeks before the official launch

No list just Checked inventory in my area by checking autotrader. Walked in and picked mine up same day.

I didn't even buy the car from the dealership I pre-ordered at. I just called around on 5/31 asking dealers if they were getting the car and I happen to luck out when I called the dealership I did purchase from as they were unloading it from the truck. I rushed over right away and got it. I had a better buying experience than I would have with my original dealership I ordered from.

From sending out dealer inquiries to pickup on 5/30 -- about a week. Which one do you need. Search autotrader.com, don't need to wait actually.

I was never on any list. I just kept checking edmonds.com inventory until they started showing up. 06/03 the exact car I wanted showed up at my local dealer (Raven MT FR-S). I didn't actually get to the dealer until the 6th, but as everyone else wanted the auto, it was still there. Happily drove away after 3 hours of signing paperwork. As a plus, my local dealer ended up being pretty good compared to some of the stories I've heard :)

The dealer actually said they gave the first one to my friend and delivers to pre-order guys later. Perhaps they think they've sold those anyway. And it did work. I get called from another dealer later the same day.

Put a deposit down 5/24, purchased car 5/31, so a week.

I pre-ordered a 2013 5.0 mustang, went to pick it up (from the same dealership I bought my 2010 from) and they tried to charge me an extra 3k. I left the same day and went to 3 different scion dealers. I gave my info, and the dealer called me back the next day when it came off the truck.

The rest is history

no wait for me, walked in saw a few FR-S a few sold, 2 still for sale, test drove one, then bought it same night.

Pre-ordered mine in February and received it in June 5. FYI Canadian.

I just remember they came out on June 1. Went to the dealership June 2just to see if they had anyone and drove off with one. Best bet is to check dealership around ur area every other week or weekend

Ordered an Asphalt MT late May. Initial estimate was mid-late July. Got a call last week it would be August at the earliest (boooo). I Searched on auto trader and found an Asphalt MT 1.5 hours away in the boonies. They were nice enough to hold it and I picked it up the next day.

Chip, I'm in cali and am still waiting too :( I reserved on 5/15 and am still waiting.
