So I got an email from my salesrep and he said that my car's status is "in line to be produced VERY soon", so Im wondering if anyone can shine some light on this? Should I expect my car in a few weeks?

I feel like there's very little reason for some lowly sales rep to know anything related to Subaru's manufacturing or supply chain.

Edit: in other words, translation is probably "go 'way, kid, don't bother us."

Or you know, the vehicle came off the waitlist. Which is definitely something the dealer can check.

I would of thought that too but I havent been calling them and this is the first update Ive gotten since my preorder back in march, so I doubt it has to do with trying to get me not to bother them lol

Some threads on different car companies said that it meant that my cars spec were submitted for production, but no idea how long it takes to produce a BRZ and than ship it

You could always just reply and ask exactly what it means... Specifically, ask if that means a VON has been generated for your car.
