San Diego drivers!? Get to know each other.
1 Attachment(s)
Hopefully this is within the guidelines to post, and I haven't misinterpreted the rules but I've created a San Diego specific Facebook Community and Closed Group with the intention of bringing all of the local "86'ers" closer together.
My roommate and I both drive a 2015 Halo FRS (me) and 2015 Rally Blue BRZ (him), and are new to the area. We've noticed a lack of a San Diego group with the intention of meeting up and making friends nearby. If you're in San Diego and would like to meet other 86 fans, search for us! (I want to get more specific than "SoCal", preferably within a ~45min drive of San Diego.) https://www.facebook.com/Ft86sandiego Again, I apologize if this is a prohibited form of advertising, but it's most definitely not for commercial use, or profit; simply a group of friends looking to expand based on common interest! ~ Tommy |
Tommy,
SD does have a group(decent size too-thats what she said), and we do enjoy meeting up and making friends! Also, the Socal section would be much better for this type of post, as it would be directed to the proper eyes. Regional-Socal |
Cool!
But Should have posted this in the SoCal regional section only |

You and your room mate should come on by to the fuddruckers meet in Mira Mesa every last thursday of the month. There is a huge car meet (300-400+cars) with atleast half a dozen 86's showing up there. This month the meet will be happening on march 26th. Awesome!
I appreciate the info. I'll check it out. (Already sent a join request.) I hoping for something active, focused and personal, oriented towards making friends with anyone who wants to be a member, rather than just a large fan club. I guess it's pretty simple. 1) Have one of the 3 cars. 2) Actively have interest to meet the other drivers. 3) Live within about a 30 mile radius of San Diego. Being new to the area, along with my friend, starting our own group is just a fun opportunity to get ourselves out there. ^_^ We'll likely keep our group growing and active too; just much smaller and more specific. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Normally when we do schedule gatherings, about 30+ twins show up  |
Yea the socalsd86 group is very active we meet damn near every week... If not at least a couple times a month.

^Agreed socalsd86 is a pretty tight knit group, really friendly and chill

Hey everyone! I've had an FRS for 2 years now but just really diving into tuning and cars period. I've been riding motorcycles for sometime but decided to give it up. So now that I'm out of the bike scene, time to focus on my FRS. Look forward to getting to know some of you posting here. See you around.
