Funny bit about Toyota wheel-caps
So I got my JDM Toyota wheel-caps in the mail today (thanks CarsonToyota!)
http://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/...tman/photo.jpg Nice! But I was too amused by the other side... http://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/...an/photo-1.jpg It was kinda funny to see the Subaru logo all over the mechanical bits of this car, but to see it on the actual Toyota logo itself? Priceless!:w00t: |
Thanks for the chuckle

Hah, thats a pretty good one. Goes to show that the badges you apply cant hide the car you drive.

That is funny!

Well considering it's made in a Subaru plant and line, what would you expect? Ever look under the hood of a VW Routan? It's all Chrysler since it's just a re-badged Town & Country made at their Windsor plant. At least the FT86 was a joint development between both, plus Toyota owns a (17% I believe) stake in Subaru so it's really a wash as far as I'm concerned. |

I wonder what the weight-savings will be if this car ever manages to shed its emotional baggage from its passive-aggressive parents. :D
|
Does that mean the wheels are Subaru sourced I wonder?

i think car makers usually source their wheels from other wheel companies such as ray's. can someone confirm this? |
