ISIS Performance Prototype Scion FR-S/BRZ Exhaust

We have just installed the brand new ISIS Performance Proto-type Exhaust for the FR-S. We were pleasantly surprised with the look and sound. We expected much more of that "wrx" sound from the exhaust, but it really isn't there. It sounds amazing in person. Our camera isn't the best.

We are told the first production batch should be available end of July, but they may ship a few before then. Gauging from their Genesis exhaust which is similar I expect pricing to be around $600 +/-

This one is a 2.5" catback. But have heard they might release a 3" for turbo applications down the road.

What do you guys think?

Tips are too big. But it'll probably still sell on that point alone.

I like the big tips, just wish they were rolled

I agree with WCBJR. It sounds great but the oversized tips with the tacky disco colored heat treatment screams RICER!!!!:barf:

that would look very sexy.

How much less does it weigh than the stock exhaust?

Koji_Online 06-11-2012 03:51 PM

Nice prototype & it has the sound I'm looking for!
Though, some questions & comments I have for the prototype are: Dyno results, please provide weight of the system, the passenger side tip is noticebly out of place/ lower ( the drivers side tip is positioned perfectly), & hopefully the final product is shorter (more in towards the car/ not feeling the look of how close the tips are to actually protruding out past the bumper line.)

I personally like & was looking for an affordable exhaust with that burnt titanium tip look; I also like the size of the tips filling out the space in the diffuser; just looking to see how my concerns will be addressed in a final product.

Thanks for sharing & lookin' forward to the result!

Rolled tips would be nice but I dont mine the current ones. I agree they might look a little better if they didnt stick out so far.

Sounds great though. Ill definitely be rocking one.

+1 for rolled tips; that would add a nice high quality to the finish

Tips are huge but it sounds really good. IMO best I have heard so far. Now what does it weigh and are there an HP or TQ gains to be had with it?

rikdrt1 06-11-2012 10:14 PM

please please keep it affordable too -- its nice !

any price or availability date yet ??

rikdrt1 06-11-2012 10:26 PM

yea, me too - rolled would be ok - but it is sticking out a bit - they need to pull it back since the bumper on this car is very useless anyway --- would look way better
