Typical first post lol

Hello. I am from central northern Canada. I ordered a 2015 BRZ Sport Tech 6spd. ETA is 3 weeks. I will use this car for summer only and will not use it in the rain, if possible. Can't wait to have a car that is purely made for driving. I ordered a set of TSW Bardo wheels, 18 x 8 with a 35mm offset. I want to run a 235/40 R18 Potenza S-04 pole position ( if I can find them lol). I will never lower the car, never track it. Will this combo fit front and rear? From my research it should. I have read about reducing sprung weight, ride quality, and such. I will not race the car, strictly use it for lazy summer days cruising.... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I have to order tires today. Anybody have a answer? My dealer has no info to help me out.

Typical First Response To Typical First Post:

Use the SEARCH BUTTON.

But yes you'll be fine.

I have read every post I could I find about this particular setup. Just wanted to be 100% sure. No one in my direct area could help me. And to make matters worse, the TSW website states that this wheel needed a 285 wide tire.... Must be a mistake. Thanks for the quick reply!

why not drive in rain, and so strict about "summer" only. Since when did $20-30k cars become Ferrari's?

Our summer here is 4-5 months max. Spring and winter are very harsh. I wanted a car to rip up to the lake land area after work and on weekends. I have a 2014 F-150 as my daily driver.

You'll be good with a 245 on your x8.
