GBS was the best color Subaru ever made the BRZ in. Really miss my GBS.

Looks EXACTLY like mine (that I still owe a lot more than 17k on)!

The FIRST question everyone will ask: WHY does it have a salvage title?
Most people who finance their cars could not buy a salvage title if they wanted to....

As far as the salvage title goes.....It had some light damage to the front bumper and passenger fender area. It was fully repaired and painted by TNT Auto Body here in Sacramento. They're pretty legit, most of the vehicles they work on are exotic. They also sponsor Speed Element's track cars and do most of the body/paint for them. Pretty much what I'm getting at is I paid top dollar to get it done right and have the paint look flawless.

Why is it so hard to get a loan for a salvaged title car? Anyway GLWS!

Because in the banks mind its worth nothing and you are borrowing their money for a car that was once destroyed beyond worth to fix, which is a big risk. Sucks because it could be 100% in working order

Exactly. The bank is who is buying the car if you're financing it. Not you. If you quit making payments they're left with a car that an insurance adjuster deemed destroyed and thats a huge risk for them.

Sad thing is, salvage cars can be just fine. A friend of mine got a C6 Z06 with 15k miles on it for like $18k. Put $10k into fixing it up and has a basically brand new Z06 for a fraction of the cost of a similar used one and it perfectly fine.

It might be a good idea to get the car titled as a Rebuilt car.
Not much better than Salvaged, but I've sold 2 rebuilt titled Wranglers that just sat while they were still titled as Salvaged

My advice is to also post pictures of the damage prior to fixing. For the car to be considered as totaled/write-off, it seems like there had to have been more than some light damage. At least that's how I feel so I am wondering what really happened to the car.
