UEL uncatted Header + OP/FP + Stock CBE Thoughts and anyone else running this?
I've been looking tirelessly into the perfect setup while keeping my car NA.
Current mods are only: -K/N Drop in filter -Zeta Performance Inlet Tube I'm planning on getting an UEL Header uncatted most likely the Open Flash Header, as I plan to run the stage 2 tune from their tablet; as well as running E85 which should net me the most gains while running the car NA. (possible custom tune down the road My question is, assuming I want to keep the sound marginally changed, will I have a problem putting an uncatted header, aftermarket over pipe and keeping the front pipe -> back stock and retain performance. I want to keep it quiet unless i'm above 3.5k or so, but not restrict flow. Thanks in advance  :burnrubber: |
It will largely do as you say: most of the gains with the least noise increase. Overall probably quite high on the gains per dollar.

That setup is fine. With the stock cbe it might sound a bit tiny or drone a bit. If it does same up for a quiet cbe like the q300 or perrin resonated

I think this sounds perfect, but not sure if that CBE is actually stock [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PwhKrqKUSI"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PwhKrqKUSI[/ame] Assuming that this the CBE is stock, this sounds perfect. Is it worth replacing Overpipe & Front catted pipe; just for the extra diameter? I only plan on keeping the car NA, no forced induction or turbo so the extra diameter would be wasted? Here's another video with UEL Header and stock CBE but aftermarket OP FP: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYwKFBJjn6A"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYwKFBJjn6A[/ame] Is it WORTH changing out the OP/FP assuming I'm keeping the car NA?? |
I would change the op but keep the stock fp

Header with overpipe front pipe and stock catback.. sounds, setups.. This should help you decide, had the same question once.
