Opinions: Kraft vs Jackson SC

I am currently in the market of buying one.
I have heard good reviews from both, But i want to run a carb legal Supercharger, I dont want to deal with having a state Ref issues.

So what are you opinions on these superchargers, for those who currently are running them on your cars.
Any advice? Pros? Cons?

-thank you

JR seems to be the most reliable for track heavy track usage. Most seem to favor it around here.

Read through the following:

KW: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48406
JR: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60172

JR is the only one of the two that has CARB approval. You'll see interesting discussion points on KW's CARB status. It is up to you after your research to decide if you want to pay to play.

Maybe @KraftWerks can comment on their CARB status?

I like KW's pipe routing, looks a little cleaner, and the idea of a secondary belt. However, the JR kit is already CARB approved and everyone seems exceedingly pleased with everything. In the end, it's essentially the same thing with minor differences, each has some minor pros and cons that can weigh on your decision.

Personally I am more likely to go with JR because I like the fact that their CARB tune has been extremely thoroughly tested under all conditions, and the air filter is more serviceable. I like to plug and play and forget. I'm done tinkering with cars, I want to drive it.

JR owner here. CARB tune + oil cooler. Easy install and completely transforms the car. I've gone to 2 track days and have no issues thus far. Approx 5k miles on the kit. Plenty of owners have way more milage than I do and no problems. I wouldn't hold my breath for a CARB tuned KW kit.

KW owner here. Generally happy with the KW kit, their tune, and their customer service. Really the only thing I don't like is the fact that their tune is not CARB approved.
