Mild gains just like any other aftermarket cat back. This one is designed by Toyota so it's OEM fitment...no worries there. Unfortunately you get OEM pricing on it as well.

When I test drove an FR-S it had this exhaust and I must admit I loved the sound. A little meatier than stock, and sounds great as your winding out through upper rev shifts. In my opinion, this should have been the stock exhaust on all these cars (except for the d-shaped pipes).

I agree with that. It sounds really good no matter what rpm you're at it you wanna know what it sounds like there are a few videos on YouTube so you can hear it. Also there little drone in the cabin but nothing annoying.

I bought a used TRD cat-back. Installation was simple, everything lined up since it's Toyota-made.

Sound is a little louder than stock. I only have the TRD intake and cat-back along with an OFT. It's a nice mild tone (used to have a straight pipe with uncatted header on my last car, so I know both ends of the spectrum).
