dropping engine and tranny

mechanical question: the body shop is telling me they have to drop the engine and tranny to do a fix for a lower body panel. they say the car won't be different after dropping the engine/tranny and then putting it back in but i'm nervous. you guys know if this is a straightforward thing (assuming they're decently skilled mechanics)? or is there a high chance the car won't be the same? i know of course it depends on the mechanic's skills but assuming that he knows what he's doing. . .thanks.

Call the Scion Dealer Body shop, they have the Service Manual procedure how to do the body work on the FR-S
