After Market Sider Marker Yellowing
 

So mostly I'm looking for experience from other members here.
I purchased these:

Which I love their function, and have no water entry issues at all, so 2 pluses there, however they have now started to yellow considerably, and are somewhat unsightly. From what I understand I could attempt to treat this, but it will happen again. So, my question: Should I attempt to treat them and return them to clear, or just get some nightshade and cover up the discoloration?

in the USA can one have red shaded side marker housings on the side of their vehicle if it still illuminates amber? I have a firestorm frs, so red nightshade might look really good.

Edit: on the front side, I have seen vehicles with red side markers in the rear.
