Brand New FRS want E85 Tune

So I just got a 2015 FRS with the Borla Cat-Back on Saturday and I already want to get the OpenFlash Tablet with Stage 2 E85 Tune. I have a E85 gas station at the corner of my house and near my job so fuel will not be an issue.

My question is how long should I wait before I pull the tiger?

Only reason I would wait is so you can see/feel the differences between the two. I waited 3 months, and wish I got it earlier. I'm 100% happy with my oft purchase, even with stage 1. I will do E85 when I have data logging figured out, I don't want to chance that part.

You thinking of going turbo this summer brah?
(Sidenote: I don't think you should ever pull a tiger. Don't think it would end up good)

I don't plan on going turbo till next year when I'm 100% used to the car.

So should I just stick with the 93 tune?

One thing I did before I decided on going e85 was checking when I go to meets (I live in Madison, wi) there's e85 fill stations along the route. That way I know for sure if I go I wouldn't have to worry about caring extra fuel in the trunk.

Also keep in mind yur mpg will suffer going to e85. I went from getting 26mpg to 19mpg. Almost all city driving

Why not go EcuTek so you can run Flex Fuel and get the power without having to worry about what your content is? ;)

Wouldn't I have to get the flex fuel kit?

BTW thank you everyone for the feedback.

Yes you would, but it makes everything much more precise, and you don't have to worry about finding another E85 station when you're running low on gas far away from home and you want to put more in.

Option 1
you have ability to flash

700 flex fuel kit
300 ecutek licience
300 flex fuel tune
400 ecuteck cable/dongle/programming kit

Option 2
you get to ecutek tuner and they flash it for you ie no cable kit required
700 flex fuel kit
300 ecutek licience
300 flex fuel tune

cons - you cannot flash/reflash yourself

Option 3
You get to ecutek tuner and they flash you a 4 map switchable tune
91/93/E30/E85
$300 Ecutek 4 map switchable tune
$300 ecutek licience

cons you cannot reflash yourself
and it always defaults to map 1 each startup so you have to remember to swich to correct map each startup with cruise stalk.

Option 4
Buy OFT
Free tunes included
you have flash device you can flash what you want
no licience required
tunes included for E85
if you get headers later you also get tunes for that.
they have tunes for their specific turbo and supercharger kits
cost $500

Option 5
buy Tactrix cable
do lots of reading tune it yourself

Lol I was just messing with you about the turbo...
Well my car isn't running on e85 but since you seem like you're not a troll and asked for my opinion I would probably wait a while and stick with 93 for a while then jump up to e85 so you can really feel how big the difference is.(if that makes sense) However you said you had an e85 station at the corner of your house and if I had one at the corner I know it would be hard to resist.
