Fujitsu Ten/ Back up Camera Bug?
Anyone have rear back up camera not showing? unplugged the cables and replugged it seem to have worked but after awhile the camera is not picked up again. I'm using the Fujitsu Ten head unit stock from BRZ (I hate how there is barely any manuals/info on this bloody unit). Will be trying the beat sonic camera & harness tomorrow to see if it changes anything. I hope it's not a faulty head unit though

I've had my Rydeen Duo installed for over two years now and have never had an issue with it.

Narrow down the problem:
Try the camera on a TV or monitor. Try some other NTSC video source into the HU (via the 16-pin rear camera harness). Also check whether the camera's own voltage converter is getting too hot. Many cameras have this problem -- they were only intended to be powered for short times while you're in reverse. I'm guessing your first camera may have died. Once it stops outputting a video signal, the next time the HU boots it will indicate you don't have a camera connected. |
