Best Springs for Handling?
 

Well, originally this thread was what I was following, but I'm not sure if times have changed and new springs are out for offer:

I was wondering what springs are best to keep the stock handling and precision?
I would like around an inch drop all around, but main focus is performance.
Looking at the Eibach Pro Kits currently mainly for the price but open to save for something a lot better!

IMO, this discussion starts and ends with RCE Yellows or Swift springs.

do you plan on changing swaybars as well? the TRD and Hotchkis springs offer a softer ride but are aimed at replacing the bars as well.

I added RCE yellows last week and we've had 5" of snow since then and I've driven on some rough roads--car still rides great and the drop looks awesome.

Only pics I have right now car is covered in snow, lol.

This. Both are great options and much stiffer than stock. The RCE Yellows are equally stiff front and rear and the Swift Spec Rs are a bit stiffer in the rear than the front (similar to how the stock is set up). Just have to decide which is best for your application (including other mods) and driving style,

Just like they said, your options are basically Swift or RCE. I run RCE yellows personally. It does have understeer tendancies unless you run some decent front camber, but I like the way the car rotates now. The swifts have the stock oversteer feeling. So just go with what you would prefer based on driving style.

I love my Hotchkis springs. My HPDE driving instructor really liked them to. I wouldn't trade them out of any other.

Any other mods? I've heard nothing but great things. I have a set in my room waiting for the weather to warm up before I install em'.

You are going to be happy. Defiantly get an alignment after the install. Max crash bolt camber in the front and with in spec in the rear. Check out my build thread in my sig if you need more info. I am planning on Hotchkis front and rear sways. I asked another member how he liked them and he swears by them.

Second the recommendation for alignment. Mine was way off after install.

RCE if you prefer an understeery car. Swift if you prefer something closer to a balanced setup, but with still a touch of understeer.

i love my hotchkis springs too.

but im not gonna lie, after a year with these on, the wheel gap (a little better than stock though) is starting to bother me now hahah

So if I were to get any springs, would I HAVE to get new sway bars, etc? Or only on certain ones it's recommended. I like the stock oversteer feel!
I'm probably looking at the Swift or Hotchkis then, right?
Any recommendations in what to get alongside either of these springs? Besides an alignment after, haha.
Eventually I plan to run Rota Grids, probably 17x9 + 30. Scared there might be rubbing.
