Interesting? I wonder how that explains the use of these stickers by Toyota in places where no back seat passenger can, could or even would come close to touching the paint!

Paint protection..but its his car..some people removed the Scion one by the trunk also...They dont bother me so i left em all on

You can either use the vinegar method, or just regular cleaning wax. Make sure you use a microfiber cloth if waxing so it won't dry on the edges of the strip.

took mine off the first week I had the car. Week or two later.... huge rock chip right where one of the stickers would have been....
