nitrous

Would the boxer handle nitrous well

Well, there are no welds on the intake manifold to blow, so that's a good sign.

Yeah, because everybody knows that nitrous oxide is instant death to a LSx.

You'll blow yourself to pieces.

You'll shoot your eye out. Wait... what are we talking about?

Okay guys bashing this guy for askin bout nitrous is downright wrong, yes te motor will handle a small shot about 50-75, 75 being the most is do, HKS ran it, only problem is the Ecu will notice the increase in torque and will pull timing and dump fuel because it has a torque limit on it so once the Ecu can be tuned then yes nitrous will be a good route

slow_frs 06-11-2012 12:03 AM

And for those of you talking bout te plastic intake manifold.... That's complete bs, I've ran 125 shot on both my tc,s before going turbo, also on my buddies ls1, so long as the nitrous is only used during WOT and above I'd say 3500 rpms, it will be good also letting off the spray between shifts

Move along, nothing to see here.

Nitrous is just silly...

Saber_TRD 06-13-2012 05:05 PM

As my friend always says, "No bottle, just balls and throttle.".

I like the idea only use it when I need it, keep my gas mileage and daily driving normal.
