TCS/VSC question.

I noticed in my FRS when i'm at a light I'll turn off the TCS and when I get up to about 15mph the light turns off. VSC will stay off no matter what but it bothers me that TCS won't stay off.

is this normal?

Hold TCS for 3 seconds to fully turn it off. Otherwise it turns off when you get up to speed because you're basically using it in "get unstuck from snow" mode.

You should have an owners manual you can refer to...

Hit the VSC Sport button, then hold the TCS button for 3seconds. The VSC SPort light will go away and the TCS light will come on, you should have two yellow/orange lights on, this means everything is cut off. The car does have to be at a complete stop to do this tho.

I know with just VSC Sport on and just hitting the TCS button, then TCS will re enable itself.

My car doesn't need to stop completly to turn off TC/VSC. I tried that on a freeway traveling 65mph. I hold the button for 3 seconds. Both TC/VSC were off.

Those HKS guys on youtube had this problem even after holding it down for 3 sec and it saying it was off when it wasn't. In the end they pulled the fuses.
