I am sure many of you have seen the curious gallery of images featuring an attractive young Japanese lady in what appears to be a lab coat.

I was curious too, and I needed to practice my Japanese, so I have translated the accompanying article for your reading pleasure! I'm no expert at the language, so don't hate on me if you notice any mistakes, but I think I got the general meaning across. Ahh, those crazy Japanese...

Japanese culture is.... very.... different. And that's all I'm gonna say. They build some damn amazing cars, though!

Interestingly, the gallery also features our main man Mr. Tetsuya Tada, so this is clearly something done in collaboration with Toyota (and the marketing spin of the conversation backs that up).

I think it's just a bit of fun, and certainly not worse than models posing with cars in certain import magazines. And hey, this car is aimed at young men; it's good to see that this article reinforces the message of 'affordability'!

Did find it funny, though I've seen videos and pics of this gravure idol. But this is the first time it had a dialogue. Thanks for this it made my day! :happyanim:
