Fair enough, I'm still keen to hear what it's like.

There's already a few exhausts that give it a nice tone, but I've always been a straight pipe enthusiast.

i heard it sounds really raspy, the shop that is working on my car will start on the exhaust soon. We are going to do a engine back, first with no res to see how it sounds then we will add a res to it.

It already sounds better than a 02-05 WRX stock exhaust.

Caution - high compression/high rpm = hot gases, and decreasing design back pressure MAY result in burned/warped exhaust valves - sayin'.

Don't confuse pressure with flow. Removing a catalytic converter increases exhaust velocity, which is a good thing (except for the environment).
