4350rpm rev cutoff after car crash
i had an accident and two airbag opened plus crashing rear wheel.
now airbag light and abs check light are "on" . the rev at "P" or "N" do not go over 4350rpm. i reflashed the ecu but the problem remained. do you have any idea? |
Why are you idling at 4350 RPM?

I'd suggest you take your car into the dealer and let them sort things out.

I have a feeling that the crash on your rear wheel damaged the ABS sensor, if it was repaired, and the problem assists it was probably not repaired properly.
The Airbag light will stay on until you replace the airbags and reset the code on the Airbag ECU, the same goes for the ABS. As for the rev limit, could it not be that you car has launch control? 0km/h or mile/hour rev limit? what software do you have? |
limp mode

Rpm limited to 4300 seems very likely due ecu being in limp home mode. The ecu goes into limp home mode for a variety of reasons to save the engine or limit vehicle power and speed if the vehicle stability stsyem or safety systems are malfunctioning. It likely you will need to replace airbags and speed sensors ect to get the vsc abs and other safety stsyems working before the ecu will come out of limp home mode. even if dash cluster is malfunctioning you will get limp home mode, i know this from personal experience. |
