max hp stock fuel system on 93

Hey everyone finally got an frs u traded a z06 for it. So now I will be fabricating my very own turbo kit. Question is how much power will the stock fuel system allow before getting close to maxing out. This is directed for 93 octane not e85. Thanks in advance

~300whp seems to be typical for necessitating a new fuel pump and injectors.

Sweet since I plan on just about 6 psi for starters, next question is when is a new map sensor needed

Very familiar with the search features of the forum and Google... this is why I enjoy the ls world everyone answers questions without the typical search term being tossed around.

It's not so much answering questions, it's moreso about clutter and starting unnecessary threads. Some people don't like to do research and just fire away creating new threads for everything. That increases the amount of clutter and redundancy for everyone following to sift through as they do their own searching and research.

Your questions aren't unique. Your discussion isn't unique. Cool that you're fabbing your own turbo kit, but if you have to ask such elementary questions, I sincerely wish you luck. You can do what you like but just trying to teach a man to fish.

P.S you might find this handy, answers all your very easily findable questions and more

Stock MAP sensor IIRC can only see 1.67bar.

yomny 02-24-2015 04:15 PM

Which is 9.8 psi almost nearing the max of the stock fuel system.

slow_frs 02-24-2015 04:30 PM

Awesome looks like a typical 57 trim .63 turbine ratio at 7 ish psi will do for now

slow_frs 02-24-2015 04:31 PM

Plus I'm sure if I wanted more I could simply clamp the map and maf just like I did with my tc and my vette

You traded a z06 for an frs? Why?

Ah ok, just making sure you weren't crazy.

I'm no corvette fan but it would be hard to trade one in for an FR-S.
