Just Got My Whiteout FR-S!
I have been waiting to buy this car since it was unveiled and I finally have been able to afford it! I got a used 2013 Whiteout with only 7 K on it. I have only had it for a day now but I am absolutely in love with this car! Everything I have read and watched on this machine is instantly validated. The fun per dollar is through the roof! Anyway, now that I have it I think the first thing I need to do is change the diff oil, tranny fluid, and engine oil to get fresh, quality fluids in it.
Am I missing something else I should be doing besides fluid changes? Don't say mods because I have those lined up but currently am low on the keesh after this purchase haha. |
Make sure it has the latest ECU upgrade

If you're going to drive it on snow covered or icy roads, you may consider a set of winter tires ...:)

First things first,
1. RUST PROOF * * * 2. Winter Tire, Pennsylvania does have snow? 3. Alarm System Upgrade 4. Car Wash, Detail and apply wax (polymer) 5. Of course oil change 6. Inspect brake caliper, people like to drift with the car a lot ;) |
Fluid Changes-
Motul 8100 or Redline in the Engine Motul Gear 300 75w90 in the Trans and Rear Diffy Brakes- Check the pads Tires- Snows and a set of wheels for winter if you drive it in the winter. My suggestion on this is ditch the OEM tires, put snows on the OEM wheels, pickup a set of wheels and tires for summer. MachV Awesome wheels are nice and inexpensive. Let us know if we can get you any or all of this stuff. We have packages for the fluids available! -mike |
