I'm trying to replace the silver knee pad trim. I'm following the steps here

I'm getting stuck at the part where you pop out the USB/Aux and then pull that panel out. I got the USB/Aux out and am not sure what to do next. The instructions are for an FRS without the start button and climate control. I tried pulling on it but it seems like it's all one solid piece. I'm afraid to pull any harder, and I can't get a good grip anyway. How do I get this piece off?

I did this yesterday when I installed my black pieces and was stuck on this step too. What I did was pop out the USB piece from the back (reach in from under the passenger knee pad and push it out). After that piece is out, reach in and pull from the opening (i pulled from the top) where the USB piece used to be.

EDIT: Just read that the USB piece is already out. You really just have to pull harder really. It's kinda scary how hard you have to pull.

I got it out! I could only pull so hard due to the plastic cutting into my finger, so I looked around my car and saw a pad of post-it notes. I wrapped one around my finger, shoved it in there and pulled with all my strength. Suddenly "pop" and it's out. Thanks, I guess I just needed to be reassured I wasn't going to break anything.
