Idk Washington shops but Mcollums auto body in south Portland does great work! One one backed into my 2012 Scion tC crumpled the whole front. Not only did they get everything lined up good as new but they paint matched my voltage yellow color spot on. They are off foster near 82nd

Not thoroughbred collision, just dont. Ever.

Hoping whoever does it turns out good. At least the red has no metallic to match.

I tried going to my dealer and asking who they use for body work. Turned out decent when I was living in corvallis.

There's an amazing shop down in fife, as long as you aren't paying I'd say it's worth the distance but if you are... nvm. Lol

I would suggest NW Autobody off of minehaha in hazel dell area. Had my last show car fixed there when it got hit, did a perfect repair and color match and threw in a free rental car. They are more expensive than Alpine, but they did a slightly better job than Alpine did the first time that car was hit. I think the car was cursed, got rid of it lol. But definitely take it there.

Amy thoughts on Leifs at all?

sirbobbinhood 02-22-2015 04:20 PM

I've had a couple of great repairs from Mackins in Gresham on our VW. The last time they had to take it up to Vancouver to do some more serious repairs and they came out great. They color matched the car perfectly too.

My sister had leifs, they over sprayed the primer on her door. I wouldn't recommend.

cowdog360 02-23-2015 01:37 PM

Sounds like I'll go check out Mackins (which is close to my house), Alpine and NW Autobody. I've heard a few people saying to avoid Leifs now.

@cowdog360 Brady's Auto Body is fantastic. I've taken my car to them twice now and they've done great work both times. They are Vancouver Toyota's preferred body shop and work with them for paint, parts, etc. Really nice people and keep you in the loop of the status. My insurance agent has taken his personal cars there too as have my parents. I highly recommend them: http://www.bradysautobody.com/.

DON'T GO TO LEIF'S. I worked at Enterprise for a couple years and Leif's is not an authorized insurance shop so the cost to repair is usually much higher than normal and they will hold your car until your insurance company gives in and pays them. I heard a few horror stories where they kept customer's cars for a month or two even though the repairs were done because they're fighting with the insurance companies.

Barret's Auto Collision in Lakewood is a great place. Got my WRX worked on there. It's pretty spendy but if you got the money why not.
