Dang it. I need to just swing by and check out the progress on the place one of these weekends. Ever since moving to the West side I never get over to that side of town but I'll make a point of it.

Did you buy a new place?

no spacers, hoping the 20mm drop is little enough not to suck the wheels in to much

You'll want different wheels or spacers.
I know I do now at least. The wheel is fairly sunken looking.

I've been considering these for a long time - are you getting spacers, and did any thread(s) or images in particular help sway you to purchase these?

I've been on RCE yellows for a year now and over 15k miles. I'm still very happy with them. better ride than stock shocks on the freeway, better grip in the corners and the stock shocks are holding up perfectly. I run 17x9 et42 wheels and do not need spacers. I also run the stock wheels in winter without spacers and they're just as sunk in as they are at stock height. Once my shocks blow i'll replace with koni yellows or just move up to coilovers.

I second your 'happy with them' motion. I've had RCE yellow springs with Koni yellow insert struts/shocks for over almost 2 years. Wonderful springs and the Koni shocks have been great too. Full soft is a little more comfy than stock and the harder settings are less comfortable, but increase road handling feel quite a bit. I run 17x8.25 et35 which seems to be the best offset for being flush without going over the wheel well for a non extreme camber setup. I'm around -1.3 camber in front and -1.5 in rear. Handles great on the track and street. RE-11a tires (245/45R17) help significantly however though too.
