Idling and parking brake

Anyone else start the motor from cold, and find that after a minute of warming up around 1200-1500 RPM, it just drops to about 500? RPM I'm sure this means the engines ready to go, but it was odd for me to just feel it suddenly drop rather than a gradual drop in RPM. I'm guessing I should read more on the D4s system?

Oh by they way did anyone else notice that the daytime running lights turn off when the parking brake is up, and turns on when the parking brake is down? Oh the little things make me excited.
