any objections let me know

Decay107 02-18-2015 09:40 PM

Nice. Costco doesn't give out head socks.

Decay107 02-19-2015 12:42 AM

So I've got an idea for a sweet push to pass system (assuming they are running their karts slightly rich)

Along with...

For extra fuel. (We could probably use propane as well)

Anyone have an old cartridge paintball/airsoft gun to donate? :D

...also bring mountain dew in spray bottles, spray it on the tires for instant grip!!!

asphaltfrs2014 02-19-2015 12:54 PM

I'll be there next Thursday with cash in hand. Looking forward to it gentlemen. We should get our own cheering section for march 1st. Haha

thehapaone 02-19-2015 01:40 PM

yeah we should also get team shirts just to make the other teams look even more like scrubs

Decay107 02-19-2015 01:47 PM

Don't we all already have North86west shirts/sweatshirts?

asphaltfrs2014 02-19-2015 02:16 PM

I didn't ever pick one up. Kevin said they were hard to get so I didn't even try lol

asphaltfrs2014 02-25-2015 06:17 PM

Just a reminder to Team Ft86, practice is tomorrow night at 630. Look forward to seeing everybody.

Special_K 02-25-2015 08:13 PM

GODDAMMIT! I need to move to Portland, you guys have too much fun up there.

thehapaone 02-26-2015 06:38 PM

So races are going to be Sunday from 4-9PM we are going to get 3 races then just hasn't been determined what the layout is going to be. Practice tonight might just be seat time which will be good to give @Ultramaroon a feel for the karts etc. We might be able to convince whoever is working to let us practice pitting but it probably just depends on who is working

asphaltfrs2014 02-26-2015 06:53 PM

Did you call today to see if we can practice the pitting?

nope just going to wing it

asphaltfrs2014 02-26-2015 07:13 PM

Just called sykart. He said it should work is practicing the putting but they have to fit us in with everybody else.

Ultramaroon 02-26-2015 09:01 PM

Leaving work now. Going to grab a bite somewhere and then head down. Depending on traffic, I'll likely be there quite early and case the joint.

See you guys there.

Only the sweatshirts are hard to get. It's just getting enough people together to make it cheap enough to be attractive. Now that spring is near I could have him price out lighter sweatshirts than the ones I did in the fall if there's any interest. To do Tshirts I like to do at least 5 at a time and I still have a few left from the failed mega meet that never happened in '13.

Ultramaroon 02-27-2015 02:40 AM

Good times. Glad I didn't suck. @asphaltfrs2014, sorry about whacking you. 8 weeks in that cast will be over before you know it. You'll be good as new.

Decay107 02-27-2015 03:22 AM

Poor @asphaltfrs2014, feel better dude, never seen anyone roll a gokart before...

Chen 02-27-2015 08:48 AM

Wait what?

BRZPDX 02-27-2015 12:18 PM

No way those karts can flip.

m.box.design 02-27-2015 12:41 PM

Did someone use a turtle shell?

thehapaone 02-27-2015 01:42 PM

It looked something like this

It was brutal. Fat guy in a kart can do some serious damage.

asphaltfrs2014 02-27-2015 01:58 PM

Haha I'm fine. Shoulder was sore for just about the next race. It's all good, take out our competition on Sunday enforcer!

No mercy everybody. Our team seemed on point last night. Looking forward to getting our names etched on the trophy and representing the ft86 community. Other club members can come and support us. We hit the track at 4pm sunday

Dang, I might have to go on strike. Does that mean we have to call Doug Mr Decay now? Or just boss man?

Decay107 02-27-2015 05:08 PM

I believe the term is indentured servitude or to use some industry verbiage "unpaid internship" You will call me sir until instructed otherwise, and the only benefits are 50% of funeral costs if you happen to meet your end while at work.* Welcome aboard everybody!

*and this is only if you can prove that it was the company's fault rather than your own.

what fluid are you buying? I'm thinking I need to swap brake fluid and do diff fluid at the very least before hitting the track this year
