Luckily where I am there isn't too much snow (maybe 2-3 feet, the snow banks along the streets are higher). It just cold as ______. I feel bad for the people who have 86's in the Maritimes :(

I'm in Cape Breton right now, and its not too bad. Really glad to escape Halifax this week considering all the flooding and ice.


I move to Saint John in the summer and I'm afraid for future winters. They have over 200 cm on the ground right now IIRC.

There were 3 cars stuck on the 1 series highway in view so me and a couple friends snowshoed up in the blizzard to see if they were ok. Everyone was gone and they were abandoned. Just as we were leaving a snow plow showed up plowing the way for some emergency vehicles. The plow stopped, waited a minute, then plowed the cars off into the ditches to make way for the emergency crews. My road still isn't plowed in one direction as there is literally a 12 foot high drift that spans a good 50 ft. of roadway.

Were all good though ;)
