Hey guys from Calgary/Edmonton, just want to start a thread for people who take delivery for the BRZ/FRS.
Please feel free to post any comment, order date, delivery date and which dealership you order from. We can keep track for others who is waiting for their new toy and have the estimate date.:happyanim:

Just curious, are you going to pick it up from Red Deer and drive back? Or the dealership will ship your car to Calgary?

Pick it up of course! I'd have to be crazy to let someone else drive it here hahaha that's quality break-in time (or if they shipped it on a truck it would be pretty expensive, and would make PDI problematic, among other things).

I order in January, I have a Ultramarine AT on order from Country Hills. I was told sometime between 11-15. But I've been told once a week since the 22nd...so I'll swallow it one more time.

Ugh, just heard the cars are being trained to Edmonton then trucked down. So maybe this Friday but possibly Monday. :(

My friend has his already, he got it from Heninger sometime last week.

I know FR-S already start delivered last week.
Hope we can see some BRZ delivery soon

oic, just curious, so you kind of expected to take delivery of whatever color show up that is 6MT and not pre-ordered?

Yup, colour wasn't an issue, just had to be 6 MT and Sport Tech. That was it. My original order says WRB or Black or Silver...and the sales manager was like, sweet, how about we give you a call when the truck is in and you just pick what you like. I was like, ok cool! :thumbup: Hahaha.

I'm 3rd at the dealership.

Cool. You are good client and easy to deal with.
I am first on the dealership with white 6MT sport tech. Mike said it might start delivery later this week or next week. We will see what happen. Maybe we can get our cars on same day. ;)

Haha, that would be sweet. Two BRZs leaving the dealership and playing tag...oh boy. :D

Have you heard anything yet? Are they getting and prepping the car same day? Still on the train? I'd phone them but want to give them some peace haha

I haven't heard anything yet but I'd imagine that we'll here about cars arriving in Edmonton or Calgary before we see ours in Red Deer.

i'm so jealous and excited for all of you who have already purchased the car. congrats.

i'll need to buy a house with garage before i can have a second car.. but that won't be for another 4 years... sigh

I was told all the cars went to Edmonton via train, and will be trucked down to Calgary (so probably Red Deer as well). They think it might come down on Friday but won't be ready till Mon or Tues.

So I'm setting my expectations (and clear bra/detail apts) for Wed. Fingers crossed.

Red Deer Subaru told me they truck it direct from port, so it could come sooner than later. Not sure about Toyota.

Saw a truck with three or four BRZ's on it yesterday on the yellowhead turning north onto 124th. The BRZ's have to be in the dealerships by now. Just thought I would give you guys a heads up.

Hey guys just saw red deer Subaru unloading their brzs, one there in white, base 6mt that is as of yet unsold.. Just a heads up. Looks freaking nice. Also statless give them a call!

Nice, you saw it eh? I called them this morning and they knew the white one was coming in, but they figured that was the only one. Did you see any others, a wrb limited per chance? :D

I think the white one is spoken for, at least they told me they had a long line of people waiting behind me (and no cars for them) and had originally been expecting the premium one june 1st and at that time it was sold (unless something changed in the meantime).

No prob, tell you the truth I did only see the white one. Talked to a salesman standing beside it and he was very nice and said this was one was avail. 29g and change with transport etc.. the headlights look way better than frs. (frs look fine but less upscale)

As for my frs looks like next week unfortunately. Oh well waited this long haha

Interesting, if he said it's available then it must be. Very tempting... but I think I should wait for the blue limited I ordered, since like you said about yours, I've waited this long already haha

Yeah, in person I much preferred the BRZ headlights... I wish they had painted the interior of the FRS headlights black, in which case I think it would look just as good as the BRZ, even without hids/leds.

Mine came in with another black sport-tech 6MT. Is the black one yours?

I've been told my cars arrived in Edmonton, not sure if will get shipped to Red Deer before Monday.

my car in Centaur subaru. I talked Rob,fininacial manager in Centaur subaru,Calgary. my SWP will be ready early next week. immpressive man. no doubt why he is in that position. I called him about more than 10times since yesterday. I saw there are one black AT available.

I am kind of excited. Picking up my BRZ from Subaru Calgary tomorrow and will give it a spin on the weekend.

Does anyone know of any other blue BRZs already in Calgary/Edmonton? Just curious if mine might be the first.

Can't believe you brz guys are getting delivery before frs preorders. Stillll waaiiting.. Congrats though
