STi Fender Garnish for BRZ
 

To compliment my 2015 Aozora edition BRZ, I wanted to get the STi Fender Garnishes (shown here: http://www.rallysportdirect.com/STI-...rld-Rally-Blue).

But I know the paint codes/colours have changed from 02C (2013-14) to 07X (2015).

My two questions are:
1) How different would the paint be if I bought them and they are coloured for 02C? Would it be noticeable?
2) Anyone know if they plan to make these for the 07X colour code?

Definitely noticeable. Somebody did a comparison shot side by side with 2015 and 2013. The 2015 is darker / deeper. A piece like that will stand out like a sore thumb if the colors are mismatched. Never mind that it costs almost $500.

just keep an eye out for someone parting out a totaled vehicle, ive seen 3 BRZ part outs this past month

Ya, the other thought I had in my mind was to buy them and get them painted to match... but it seems like a lot of work for just a fender garnish. Oh well.

So... it has an STI sticker on it? is that the only difference? If so, could just get an STI sticker and buy the chrome piece. Its only like 80 bucks.

The chrome piece is a little bigger to fit the sticker. So it s a completely different design than the normal ones

Not a different design, it's the same factory piece under the chrome piece. You could essentially take the chrome piece off and stick it on your factory part...

No, look different. Also the sti name is engraved/painted.
