Failed login notification
I woke up this morning (UK time) with a notification that someone has been trying to access my account. The email was sent from ft86club.com@gmail.com so i suspected phishing but there is no bogus links in the email. The IP provided at a glance appears to be Chinese.
Is that gmail address legit? |
Just checked other emails from ft86 and it does appear to be legit. So it looks like someone using a chinese IP has tried to access my account. How very strange and random.

there was some guy who released 10 million passwords and names recently. not sure if this is related. But I had someone from Texas log on to my face book account.

Well the fact that they never actually managed to get in is the bit that is surprising. If i was successfully phished they would have my password, this seems more like a random bruteforce attempt. Wondering why my account in particular was targeted.
