FS: Ported & Polished Heads with Ferrea +1mm Valves and Valvetrain, Ready to Install

Building your motor but don't want any down time? Up for sale are the heads off my built motor. They are ported and polished with Ferrea +1mm oversize competition plus valves, Ferrea dual valvesprings and titanium retainers. (the top of the line from Ferrea, not the 6000 series entry level) The heads will come with stock cams and the upper cam cradles with valve lash already set for the cams! For those that have not gone through the pain of setting valve lash, this is what we have seen a lot of FA20 builders struggle with. So the hard part is already done! The heads will come with powder coated black valve covers with ARP stainless steel 12pt hardware.

These heads were on my personal car for about 100 miles. We were testing different bearing clearances and oil pump changes and I lost interest in the FA20 and decided to do a swap instead. The heads were sent back to our machine shop for inspection and verification. The heads are already decked and ready for final assembly.

$3500 OBO, Will only ship to verified PayPal accounts and to verified PayPal addresses, or you may wire transfer the amount and I will ship to a shop or address of your choosing.

How do they perform and are they suitable for normally aspirated use, or are they really designed for forced induction applications? If the former, will they work well on a basically stock engine aside from UEL headers, catted front pipe and full exhaust, along with drop-in air filter and a tune? I'm basically trying to get an idea as to what needs to be done to the car to get the best results from these heads.

I don't have back to back tests to give you official figures but they can be used use in NA or Boosted applications and will be a gain no matter which format. In the VQ world our ported and polished heads outflow Cosworth CNC heads and the same machinest is whom handled these heads. They will work on a stock engine but you will need a touch up tune because there is more air coming in and out of the engine with the port and +1mm valves. You will now also be able to rev further out with the upgraded valvetrain.
