Bad gas lately?

I recently noticed about a week ago that my car wasn't pulling as hard. I have the electric supercharger and I thought it wasn't boosting correctly but after verifying it was I next thought it was the tune. I re-flashed my 91 octane map just incase but nothing changed and just so happened that my order of Torco Accelerator (racing fuel concentrate) came in today. After pouring it in I drove to dinner and on the way back home I did a WOT pull and the car pulled WAY harder.

Has anyone else felt that the blend or something else changed recently in socal gas? It could be placebo but honestly the difference felt pretty drastic; prior to adding in the Torco it felt like my engine was holding back the timing. Since I stayed on the 91 map it would probably mean our gas isn't meeting what OFT off-the-shelf tune thinks 91 should be. Also don't use Mobil unless you like crickets.. I've been cricket free for over 6 months and thought I could get away with using Mobil; one minute after filling up from Mobil it's chirp city for me.

A lot of gas companies are switching back to summer blend fuel around this time, not sure if that is related but, its an idea.

You don't have e85 where you stay at?

Not reliably. I live in Irvine and the closest one to me is in HB.

That was my assumption too. I was just surprised at the difference and trying to see if anyone else has noticed anything. Looks like it's almost cricket season again with the heat too.

Yeah, been gettin' chirps like crazy lately. I've only been filling up at Chevron.

I've had bad gas lately. Lactose intolerant.

Try different station? Also does you IAM stay pegged at 1. Are you getting any knock?
