Do Canadian 86s come with underbody panels?

Pretty much what the title states. Are the Canadian models bare like the American 86s? Thanks in advance.

While I'm at it, is it possible to get the 16'' base wheels on Canadian models, or was this a JDM/ADM/EMD option only?

Is there a vendor that sells these wheels?

I don't understand why the Australian models would have under panels, but Australia doesn't get snow or nearly as much of salt on their roads, while the American models don't get under panels at all.

Mine has the front panels (directly behind the fiber engine undercover)

hmong337 02-13-2015 02:09 AM

I have the front under trays only. There are no options with Scion so the 16"s never made it to Canada. It's a gt86 thing if I'm not mistaken.

The Aozora edition BRZ comes with an "additional underbody panel" which one though I'm not sure or whether that means its got the JDM underbody panels, only an Aozora owner could say. The rest of the 86s don't have it, however they can have the underbody panels added, I've already done it on my Monogram. Essentially remove all the existing panels, remove some of the clips near the rocker panels(might be hidden by tar) and they fit perfectly providing full coverage, you just need the necessary clips and nuts and they'll stay on.

Got a part number? With all under panels and the spoiler drops the CD to 0.27.

Unfortunately I tossed out the box which had the part numbers of each item taped on it. I got it from genometuning due the good price, but I don't think they're selling the set anymore since the thread seems to be gone. I don't know if any other vendors here are offering it.

Checkout page three post 57 of this thread for numbers.

What's undrpanel again?

funwheeldrive 02-13-2015 07:07 AM

Thanks for the info. I've thought about buying the panels new, but they are more than I want to spend right now. I was going to see if I could buy them used from a car that is being parted out. I guess I'll have to wait. One day I'll get those wheels too. I'm a sucker for 16s.

BlackMonarch 02-13-2015 08:23 AM

my American model came with full underpanneling, clear back to the middle of the car where the exhaust hanger for the midpipe is. Then again, I live in the midwest. They may do it for snow markets, and not for dry markets.

No, but we have heated mirrors. USDM models get the firstaid kit instead.
