Springs!!!!

It's now time for my next upgrade and due to money being a little tight I'm looking at some lowering springs but I can't decide what brand to go with lol. Any thoughts or suggestions? I was thinking H&R or TEIN.

@jeffsides has Teins, unsure if H or S Tech, so he can chime in. I have Eibach Pro Kits and am quite happy with the ride quality. It's not bouncy or any more harsh. No settling either. From what I've heard, the TRD springs are manufactured by Eibach and are essentially the same as the Pro Kit. I'm assuming if your'e light on funds like me, you'll want some 1-1.2" drop and no more to lengthen the lifespan of the OEM struts.

I have H&R springs on mine, mainly cause they were blue and so was my car lol, but I'm also more familiar and used to H&R from my previous car's springs so I went with them again.

I like the ride and the look, although I wonder sometimes if I got the more lowered H&R's instead to drop another .5", but it's all good.

I'd recommend the H&R's but then again it's all I'm used to so I don't know what they're like compared to TEINs.

I was thinking Tein because of the 1.4" front drop and 1" rear drop and running 18x 9" wheels

I currently have Swift springs, 1" inch drop all the way around. They handle great. Ive also got a set of Vogtland's in the garage thats going on soon,1.6" drop all around. Think Im not gonna like the ride as well as the Swift's, but more low will be nice, altho sometimes I rub even now. :( My Swifts are spoken for, but I just wanted to recommend them.

It's pretty much the same with 1.2" and 1" respectively with H&R's. I have heard though that H&R's are softer (more give) compared to other brands like TEIN so a softer less rough ride, but that means more roll if you do sportier stuff.

Hmmm....I have owned eibach sportline on my old Jetta and it was pretty bouncy and talking to our porsche mechanic here he said H&R or TEIN were good...

I love my Hotchkis Springs. So much so I am planning on buying all their other suspension pieces. They have a race inspired lowered look and handle perfectly.
