Anyone else pick up Evolve?
 

I picked it up yesterday after work for my PS4. I have only had time to do the tutorial and one quick solo game as a hunter. It sure feels like there will be a steep learning curve with it but I think it has some good potential as a game. I am pretty excited to get online and play.

Anyone else bought it? What do you think so far?

It looks interesting and I've thought about it. Interesting premise behind it for sure. It's online multiplayer only though right? And you get to be the monster too? I'd definitely like to hear your thoughts/impressions on it the more you play. I may pick it up this weekend. Going to spend some time this week doing YouTube searches on it and see what the consensus is.

I played the beta, I only managed to get into 1 game and I was super confused the whole time about who and what I was trying to kill/chase.

You can sigle player it with bots controlling the other characters.

It is a steep learning curve that is for sure. I haven't put a ton of time into it as yet but I think once I figure a few things out it is going to be a lot of fun.

I played a good bit of the beta, but I won't pick it up until it's in the bargain bin. I just find it hard to justify spending $80-100 bucks to be able to play the whole game... If it were done more like Warframe as a FTP with in game spending then I'd be all over it. I think it's about time to break the norm of every game costing $60 no matter what.
